Ian L. Springer is a book illustrator and game developer based in Maryland. He studied Illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has multiple children’s books published, including Where Could Mama Be? and Jasmin Pictures Home. His books are published by Shout Mouse Press and are sold in Barnes and Noble and Amazon. He has been interviewed by Apple for their 2024 Black Unity news article featured within the Apple News app. His work involves fantasy and uses exaggeration and linework to capture expressions and convey personality and emotion.
 
He currently works as a freelance illustrator and Director of Marketing and Communications full-time.
